Massey Ferguson presents several innovations in agricultural equipment at the Bahia Farm Show 2019, which takes place in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, from May 28th to June 1st, to meet the needs of large rural producers in the region.

The brand's main novelty is the series of folding planters Momentum, the first global project by AGCO – owner of the Massey Ferguson brand – developed 100% in Brazil, available in versions of 24, 30 and 40 lines, with working widths of 10,2 meters, 13,5 meters and 18 meters, respectively. Its storage boxes hold 5.130 liters of seeds. It is a simple piece of equipment to operate, and it is possible to change from 45 cm to 50 cm in less than two hours with the 40-line option.

Folded, the Massey Ferguson Momentum has a smaller transport width of 3,6 meters, without the need for disassembly. The machine is easily transported on flatbed trucks, without the need for beaters – just remove two wheels and two planting lines from the machine's central support, and it will be 3 meters wide.

The planter can reach planting speeds above 10km/h and has the Smart Frame System, which keeps all rows always in contact with the soil, depositing seeds at the correct depth even on wide bases and contour lines.

With Precision Planting technology, Momentum guarantees better seed distribution. While the 20/20 Generation 3 monitor allows the producer to monitor implement data, tracking information line by line in real time, which allows better guidance on operational decisions. The new product comes out of the line with the vSet2 seed doser, which offers better distribution, considerably increasing productivity in crops and avoiding failures and doubles when depositing seeds on the ground, and with vDrive, which performs total control of each line individually.

Harvester

The brand also takes the agribusiness fair to axial harvester MF 9895 (470 hp), which can now come with the new 9255 Dynaflex platform attached, has a 9,8-liter AGCO Power seven-cylinder engine, which can reach 500 hp. It has a higher grain unloading rate (150 liters per second) and a tank with a storage capacity of 12.334 liters. The feed cylinder drive system is responsible for the high performance of the equipment, guaranteeing the quality of the grains and expanding the range of crops and applications.

Sprayer

For spraying, the Massey Ferguson solution is the MF 9335 (3.500l), which was designed, tried and tested to offer the best performance in the most varied terrain and use conditions. Available in grain and sugarcane versions, the main difference of the equipment is the spray bar (24 or 32 meters) suitable for current field challenges.

Tractors

Massey Ferguson also offers tractors of different sizes and powers for the most diverse demands of rural producers. O MF 7725 Dyna-6 (250 hp) has, among its differences, the possibility of using two implements, one front and one rear, that is, the tractor performs two activities at the same time. Suitable for grains and sugarcane, it is equipped with autopilot, front and rear three-point hydraulic system, electronic engine management (DTM), telemetry, as well as an electronic engine that increases yield by up to 15%, also allowing savings of 10%. % of fuel per hectare worked (under normal operating conditions).

Thanks to the AGCO Power electronic engine, with Dyna-4 transmission, the MF model 6713R Dyna-4 (135 hp) also allows fuel savings and increased productivity. O MF 6711, with AGCO Power electronic engine (115 hp) has high performance and greater lifting capacity (4.950 kgf) for carrying out work with heavier implements and with excellent hydraulic flow.

MF 5709 (95 hp) offers higher levels of torque, lifting capacity and flow (57 or 98 LPM). Developed with the brand's global standard, it has a greater range of working gears due to the 12x12 transmission, linked to mechanical or electro-hydraulic reversion.

finally the MF 4707 (79 hp) has greater lifting capacity and flow (65 LPM). Ideal for silage, grains and horticulture, the new product has a greater range of working gears – 24 forward and reverse gears –, as it has the option of a supercreeper, a super speed reducer. The tractor is also equipped with the AGCO Power engine.
