Massey Ferguson expands its lubricating oil portfolio and introduces the MF Engine Premium, engine lubricant with the longest hours on the market. After undergoing rigorous AGCO Power Field Trail tests, the product received the patent for being the only oil approved and recommended for the brand's equipment of agricultural machinery and solutions.
“Our premise is to serve rural producers safely and effectively. When offering a new product, we submit to the company's demanding global engine engineering protocol, which requires a series of approvals and field tests”, explains Marcelo Traldi, vice-president of After-Sales at AGCO South America, the company that owns the brand. “Increasing the length of hours allows greater productivity and financial return for the farmer, as it reduces stops in the field to change oil and machinery components”, adds Traldi.
O MF Engine Premium 10W-40 is 100% synthetic, was developed specifically for agricultural engines, offers protection, potential of up to 600 working hours, the longest replacement interval on the agricultural market and fuel savings, which contributes to reduced maintenance costs and protection against soot, wear and deposit formation. The product is suitable for the vast majority of vehicles used in agricultural and transport operations.
The new item makes up a complete portfolio of agricultural equipment care that Massey Ferguson offers. The brand has in its line the MF Engine ULTRA, an exclusive Massey Ferguson product, 15w40 API-CI4 mineral and with a higher load of additives, which includes GTL base oil, a purer product that increases the oil's performance. This product helps reduce maintenance and increase vehicle reliability. Suitable for most heavy-duty turbocharged and non-turbocharged diesel engines in severe applications, it is approved for up to 400 hours on the brand's machines.
The line of lubricants MF Engine Genuine It is a 15w40 API-CI4 specific for machines with older engines and with 250 hour intervals. Its thermal stability and resistance against oxidation provide a good level of protection against the formation of deposits on pistons. The cleaning power is further improved with the use of high-performance dispersants, which control the formation of sludge and deposits in other parts of the engine. The combination of good internal cleaning and effective anti-wear additives helps reduce engine wear, in addition to contributing to lower operating costs.
Remembering that packaging and used oil are recyclable and must be delivered to a service station or authorized collection point, as improper disposal of the product can cause damage to the environment and the population.
