IICA strengthens efforts to guarantee food security
The focus of the work was on technical cooperation actions that can limit the consequences of the pandemic in the agri-food and rural sector in Latin America and the Caribbean
Committed to rural producers and the entire agribusiness production chain in the country, Massey Ferguson, in partnership with the e21 agency, launched the “Agribusiness doesn’t stop” campaign in the last week of March.
The action is made up of a video of a minute that supports the farmer, highlighting that despite the situations generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, the new coronavirus, planting and harvesting will continue because, after all, agriculture cannot stop. In addition to the video, four advertising pieces in the form of banners were distributed on Massey Ferguson's social media profiles with the campaign's main message.
“The idea is to support our main partner, which is rural producers, in the task of feeding the world. We are going through a difficult and uncertain time, and agriculture is an important driver of the economy. This is the way we found to honor and motivate him”, says Alfredo Jobke, Marketing Director at AGCO South America, the company that owns Massey Ferguson. In addition to making banners available on Facebook e Instagram brand, Massey Ferguson shared the content with digital agricultural influencers.
