Massey Ferguson is highlighting its new version of the Momentum planter and the MF 8S tractor during the Bahia Farm Show. With 18, 20, 22 and 24 lines for spacing of 45 centimeters and 50 centimeters, the planter now covers a greater number of rural producers seeking efficiency, versatility and sustainability. Next to the tractor MF 8S offers a planting solution that promises to increase profitability in the field.

In the video, the Corporate Commercial Director of Revemar, reseller Massey Ferguson, Eugênio Allegrette, highlights details of the Momentum and MF 8S set.

The new version of Momentum brings a weight distribution system across the chassis that divides the central load equally, which results in a better performance in uneven areas, providing homogeneous depth seed deposition and improved planting quality. Another new feature is the fertilizer system that starts to operate with vApply Granular, a technology Precision Planting fertilizer control system that makes the fertilizer management in two sections, reducing the fertilizer waste.

A new version maintains the already known transport versatility, the planter is 3,6 meters, without the need to disassemble any component, being able to pass through gates and bridges easily and safely. The time of Closing takes less than 45 seconds, providing agility in movement of the machine or when working in different areas of the property, resulting in increased of planting time.

The MF 8S tractor, model MF 8S.265 with a power of 265 hp, has the new Dyna-7 automatic transmission, which provides easy and efficient operation with a total of 28 forward and 28 reverse speeds in four groups and seven uninterrupted marches. The exclusive Protect-U design, with 24 centimeters of space between the cab and the engine, isolates the internal environment from unwanted noise, heat and vibrations, offering operator comfort and silent operation.

Both machines have technologies that integrate, facilitating work and bringing more results. For example, for planting to take place with parallelism ideal between lines, an autopilot system is required that guarantee the planter passes with the lowest possible error. This work is carried out through MF Guide, Massey Ferguson's autopilot solution present on the tractor.
