In celebration of International Women's Day, Massey Ferguson carries out a socio-environmental action in partnership with Ciclo Reverso - Circular Economy and Productive Inclusion of Porto Alegre (RS) on March 8, at the brand's stand, during Expodireto Cotrijal, in Don't Touch Me (RS). Women who attend the stand will be presented with toiletry bags and hair accessories made by reusing the company's old canvas and uniforms.
The "Massey Cycle" project, in partnership with Ciclo Reverso - specialized in transforming waste into products promoting the productive inclusion of women for corporate citizenship - reuses communication tarpaulins used in Massey Ferguson stands at agricultural fairs to manufacture toiletry bags . The action also involves a campaign with dealerships to donate old uniforms, which are transformed into hair bows.
“The initiative positively impacts the environment, with 100% certified waste disposal. Furthermore, it generates direct income for women in situations of social vulnerability and demonstrates the transformative potential of the agricultural industry by integrating sustainable practices into its operations. This action reinforces our commitment to sustainability and valuing women”, says Fernanda Teixeira, Communications and Customer Care Manager AGCO South America.
Visitors who come to the stand on March 8th will be able to watch the artisans work in the process of making the products.
