Forum discusses seed production technologies
The event will bring together, in Foz do Iguaçu, production and industry professionals
Massey Ferguson, a reference in the Brazilian agricultural market, takes to Expointer (Esteio, RS, from 26/8 to 3/9) its new planting solution, formed by the Momentum planter with fewer rows and the MF 8S tractor. The set has technologies that integrate to facilitate operation and bring excellent productivity results.
“We listened to our customer and brought options to support more segments and all sizes of producers, who need a smaller machine, but don't give up high technology. Our objective is to offer an intelligent, high-quality planting solution that delivers added value and has less impact on the environment”, highlights Everton Alonso, Marketing Director Massey Ferguson.
With the option of 18, 20, 22 and 24 rows and spacing of 45 cm and 50 cm, the new version of the Momentum planter has a weight distribution system across the chassis, which divides the load evenly, resulting in better performance in hilly areas, providing homogeneous seed deposition depth and improving planting quality.
Another new feature is the fertilizer system that now operates with vApply Granular, a Precision Planting® fertilizer control technology that manages fertilizer in two sections, reducing fertilizer waste by up to 50%. To provide agility in moving the machine or working in different areas of the property, the planter is 3,6 meters long.
The new models make the perfect combo with the MF 8S tractor, winner of Tractor of the Year 2023. Both have technologies that integrate, such as the automatic pilot, which guarantees ideal parallelism between the planting lines, and the fleet management system , which monitors the machine's performance, as in a Formula 1 car, and transmits all machine information to a center that helps evaluate the equipment's condition, enabling the dealership to offer personalized service to the producer, avoiding unexpected downtime.
With 265 hp, the MF 8S has the exclusive Protect-U design, with 24 centimeters of space between the cabin and the engine, which isolates the internal environment from noise, heat and unwanted vibrations, offering silent operation and operator comfort. The new Dyna-7 automatic transmission provides easy and efficient operation with a total of 28 forward and 28 reverse speeds in four groups and seven non-stop gears.
In harvesters, the highlight at the fair is the MF 9595, which offers the modern V-Cool cooling system, exclusive to Massey Ferguson, which allows thirty minutes more, on average, of machine availability, as it drastically reduces the need for cleaning of radiators. The model has the exclusive 25ft Draper platform, which provides homogeneous delivery of the harvested material, with less losses and increased productivity.
For spraying, the brand brings the MF 500R series, with the new AWD Smart Drive transmission, which can operate on slopes of up to 36%. The exclusive LiquidLogic® system has among its functions the recovery of the product from the spraying system into the tank after each application or product change, providing savings and sustainability.
In the haying line, the MF RB4160V Protec baler has the advantage of integrated packaging that wraps the hay in motion. The implement features greater work speed and reduced maintenance and noise levels. To ensure smooth bale unloading, the wrapper table placed close to the ground minimizes rolling speed and maintains the ideal bale shape.
Visitors will be able to visit Mafê. Massey's new digital specialist will be responsible for the stand's digital communication, in addition to being present on the brand's social networks, bringing information about launches, technological innovations and answering questions from rural producers.
