Elected members participated in the first official meeting this month, marking the beginning of work with the new group of leaders
Massey Ferguson and InovaTec UFSM Parque Tecnológico, an innovation and entrepreneurship environment at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), signed a partnership with the objective of creating innovative solutions for agribusiness based on challenges faced in the field and the development of new technologies to enhance the farmer’s efficiency and profitability.
Joint activities between Massey Ferguson and InovaTec - Innovation, Science and Technology Park include research and innovation for the development of technologies that meet the needs of farmers and contribute to sustainable and precision agribusiness. “The partnership with InovaTec opens doors for research and studies, enhancing technological innovation in the agricultural sector by integrating UFSM’s academic capabilities with Massey Ferguson’s expertise. This collaboration will promote advances that benefit rural producers, allowing us to direct our efforts in a more strategic and assertive way, optimizing resources and achieving better results”, says Rodrigo Carmo Cardoso, Product Marketing Coordinator at Massey Ferguson.
InovaTec, linked to the Dean of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UFSM, is an environment dedicated to promoting interaction between companies and universities, with the aim of promoting initiatives that positively impact society. The Park connects knowledge generated in academia with the productive sector, strengthening the regional socioeconomic structure and developing advanced technological solutions.
Massey Ferguson maintains other partnerships with UFSM, such as the Advanced Farm 360 Technology Room, a space dedicated to the development of knowledge and advanced practices in the area, with the aim of boosting precision agriculture and technology applied to the field. Practical classes in various disciplines and professional training courses for agricultural machinery operators are held on site, focused on Agriculture 4.0 technologies.
