Exports of soybeans and bran grow in 2023
Soybeans grow from 92,3 million tons measured in the previous projection to 93,7 million in the current balance
The Department of Plant Health and Agricultural Inputs Act 16 of the Agricultural Defense Secretariat, published in the Official Gazette of the Union, brings the record of 44 formulated agricultural pesticides, that is, products that will effectively be available for use by farmers. Of these, seven are considered low impact.
"O Registration act by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock guarantees more options for products for pest control in agriculture”, highlights the general coordinator of Pesticides and Related Products, José Victor Torres.
Of the seven biological products registered today, five are intended for organic agriculture based on Trichoderma atroviride, Trichoderma viride, Telenomus podisi and Baculovirus. The other two low-impact products are composed by Pseudomonas oryzihabitans and Trichoderma atroviride.
O product based on Trichoderma atroviride stands out for being the first product registered the basis of this active ingredient. For the producer it is another tool to control Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, popularly called white mold, which affects several crops such as pumpkin, lettuce, potatoes, eggplant, beans, watermelon, melon, cucumber, soybeans, among others.
You phytosanitary products approved for organic agriculture were registered based on Reference Specification (ER). The products registered based on reference specifications can be used in any culture with the occurrence of biological targets and are indicated for both organic crops as well as conventional ones.
You low impact products, in addition to being efficient from the point of view agronomic, have low or no impact on human health and the environment environment, and its use is gaining more and more space in agricultural production Brazilian.
Of the registered chemical products, there is a herbicide in which one of its active ingredients is Aminocyclopyrachlor. This is a new active ingredient for controlling various plants weeds in pastures.
You other products use active ingredients previously registered in the country. The registration of generic pesticides is important to reduce the market concentration and increase competition, which results in trade fairer and lower production costs for Brazilian agriculture.
"At the In 2023, there are already 66 registered products, 15 of which are low impact with nine of them authorized for organic farming. Comparing with the year 2022 We have already had an increase of 3 low-impact products, as in the year 12 low-impact products were registered in the same period. This demonstrates how much the registration of pesticides from biological basis”, highlights Torres.
All registered products were analyzed and approved by the responsible bodies for health, environment and agriculture, in accordance with scientific and aligned with best international practices.
