Mahindra unveils OJA 3140 tractor at Expodireto 2025

Mahindra, one of the largest tractor manufacturers in the world, with production of over 420 units per year, presented new machines at Expodireto 2025. Among the launches are the OJA 3140 tractor and the VX90 backhoe, as well as other products such as the potato planter and the rotary hoe.

The OJA 3140 tractor is one of Mahindra's main launches. Equipped with a 40 hp Mahindra DI engine at 2500 RPM, the model has features that ensure greater productivity and operational comfort.

Its features include a reducer that allows working speeds of up to 0,3 km/h and a reverser that facilitates maneuvering in restricted areas. The electro-hydraulic power take-off (PTO) drive provides greater agility and precision in operations. The height- and tilt-adjustable steering wheel also ensures operator comfort, while the portal-type front axle ensures greater clearance and a smaller turning radius.

The OJA 3140 tractor also stands out for its lifting capacity with a 3-point hydraulic system, with a maximum of 950 kg. The model also has a 33-liter fuel tank and an independent PTO with electro-hydraulic drive, offering efficiency in various agricultural operations.

In addition to the OJA 3140 tractor, Mahindra presented the VX90 backhoe, with features that meet different demands of the agricultural sector. The company also highlighted the potato planter and the rotary hoe, expanding the machine options for Brazilian farmers.

According to Jak Torretta Jr., CEO of Mahindra in Brazil, the state of Rio Grande do Sul, with its diverse crop range, is one of the company's main focuses in the country. He emphasizes that family farming is of great importance to Mahindra, which offers tractors with power ranging from 25 to 110 hp. Rio Grande do Sul, which represents 23% of the company's market in Brazil, continues to be a strategic region for Mahindra's growth in the country.
