Lucas Silveira took on the role of sorghum portfolio manager for America at Advanta Seeds. In this role, he will be directly subordinate to the global commercial director and will be responsible for managing the grain and forage sorghum portfolio across the American continent.
With more than a decade of experience in the seed market, Lucas has already played roles in renowned companies, such as Dow AgroSciences and Corteva, in corn and soybean crops. During his time at these companies, he worked in product development, sales, commercial management and marketing management.
At Dow AgroSciences, Lucas held roles such as district sales manager, seed sales representative and agronomic product developer, where he had the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into market demands and challenges. Then at Corteva, he took on the role of seed and business portfolio leader for other crops, as well as being district sales manager for the Brevant Seeds brand.
In his new role at Advanta Seeds, Lucas will have the mission of driving growth and investment in several regions of the American continent. Your primary focus will be to maximize the company's potential speed of growth and profitability through a comprehensive regional vision and well-founded business strategies.
