LS Tractor, a South Korean brand of agricultural tractors with more than ten years on the Brazilian market, will present its portfolio of tractors designed to optimize production on small and medium-sized properties at Expointer 2024, which takes place from August 24th to September 1st in Esteio (RS). The company, committed to supporting sustainable development and efficiency in food production, has tractors that offer fuel savings in different operations, ease of operation and low maintenance costs, in addition to complete technologies and transmissions.
The G40, R50, R65, U60 and Plus80 agricultural tractors will be the LS highlights for the event. With five models and eight versions with and without a cab, they are especially popular with small producers as they combine power with versatility and are suitable for a variety of tasks, from soil preparation to harvesting and transporting loads.
“These producers generally have more than one activity within the property, so that it provides sources of income from different products and crops. That is why the company offers, within its portfolio, tractors that perfectly meet your needs”, points out LS Tractor marketing manager, Astor Kilpp.
Kilpp highlights that the G40, for example, leaves the factory with all the technological items that characterize and highlight LS Tractor products, such as the smallest turning radius in the category (55º), 12x12 transmission with synchronized forward and reverse inverter (Syncro Shuttle ), which guarantees greater agility and speed in operations. The super reducer, adjustable hydrostatic steering and excellent ground clearance are other features of the model. With a 3-cylinder LS diesel engine with Tier3 technology, the tractor also has reduced CO² emissions and delivers a high level of fuel economy.
The U60, the SUV of agricultural tractors, has a 4-cylinder LS engine with 65 hp and Tier3 technology, LS transmission with 32 speed options for work and synchronized forward and reverse reversers. The model has a power take-off with 3 rotation options (540, 750 and 1000rpm), an armored front axle and the smallest turning radius in the category (3,25m), in addition to the original factory cabin with a high standard of comfort. “It is a machine designed for small family producers who seek operational performance, comfort and fuel economy”, highlights the manager. The U60 was featured in the cover story of Revista Cultivar Hortaliças e Frutas 146, which can be accessed by clicking here.
The R50, in turn, is a 50 horsepower model equipped with a 4-cylinder LS engine and LS transmission with 32 speed options. It is compact and efficient for work in restricted areas, for example, inside a poultry house to beat the litter after removing a batch of chicken.
The Plus 80 delivers all the features of previous models, adding greater power with a 4-cylinder Perkins engine. “All of these models deliver the best in performance and economy, tractors designed to meet the various activities that a family property needs”, says Kilpp.
Launched at this year's Agrishow, the narrow MT7 model is one of the brand's solutions for the fruit growing sector or other perennial crops that have reduced spacing between planting rows. Developed under the demand of Brazilian rural producers and approved by engineers in Brazil and the headquarters in South Korea, the new series was designed to deliver more torque (force), which defined the choice of four (04) cylinder Perkins engines. with 80 and 93 hp, MAR1/Tier3 technology, with low noise and lower vibration characteristics. The MT7 was also featured on the cover of Revista Cultivar, this time from Cultivar Máquinas 242, which can be accessed by clicking here.
“That’s a lot of power in a compact model,” says Kilpp, adding that they have 16% more engine torque compared to competitors, 43% more torque reserve and 19% more power available at the PTO, according to comparative data. of technical publications highlighted by manufacturers. “These characteristics define this project as the model with the greatest strength and excellent consumption ratio”, he highlights.
The H series are tractors with medium/heavy characteristics, ideal for the extreme working conditions typical of rice farming. It has the robustness and operational aggressiveness required in this activity. “In general, most tractors used in this activity have around 120 hp. We offer two options on the market, the H125 and the H145, which meet the demands of rice producers very well”, highlights Kilpp.
The combination of the best technologies, robustness and sustainability is the main feature of the models, says Kilpp, highlighting that the machines are a reliable and affordable choice for different sizes of producers looking to increase the efficiency and profitability of their operations.
