The scenario for coffee is one of certain stability, maintaining a position to bring good income to the producer. In any case, the time is also to invest in technologies that enable increased productivity and, consequently, profitability for coffee farming. It is with a focus on this opportunity that LS Tractor, a South Korean tractor manufacturer, will present first-hand, during Femagri 2019, which takes place between the 20th and 22nd in Guaxupé, MG, its new R65 model, a novelty from the brand for the coffee growing sector.
Developed to deliver more torque and more power to Brazilian coffee growing, the 65 hp R65 Compact is an option for producers in this segment that joins the U60 and R60. The model is developed for activities in which the available power needs to be greater. With Tier3 engine to control pollutant emissions and low noise levels, providing operator comfort, availability of the new model in Rops and Cabinado configurations, independent hydraulic power take-off with three speeds (540rpm, 750rpm and 1000rpm) easily operated via panel, 32F x16R Syncro Shuttle transmission with super reducer (Creeper), armored front axle with smaller turning radius and greater ground clearance.
“All these features, which already come from the factory, are highly desired by the producer, who will have this model, R65, a tractor with high performance, better torque, with an excellent level of fuel economy”, highlights the marketing and product manager, Astor Kilpp. He adds that LS Tractor prepared this model to precisely serve the coffee sector that seeks certain specifications in the tractor. “Once again we came out ahead offering what the market wants, consolidating us as the brand that grew the most in 2017 and 2018”, he concludes.
