Soybean production falls, but processing projection remains at 54,5 million/t, says Abiove
The entity's projections for the current cycle were adjusted due to climate impacts in the field
LS Tractor announced the launch of its new series of MT7 tractors, during the Coopavel 2024 Rural Show. Developed especially to meet the needs of coffee and fruit growing, sectors that require mechanization adapted to restricted areas and dense plantations, the MT7.80f and MT7.90f promise innovation in operational efficiency and fuel economy.
Astor Kilpp, marketing and product manager at LS Tractor, highlights the technical focus of these new tractors and the great market potential, especially among coffee and orange producers, sectors with a broad base of properties in Brazil. The project, which included the collaboration of Brazilian engineers and the headquarters in South Korea, incorporates adjustments suggested by local producers, ensuring that the machines are highly adapted to the specific needs of these segments.
The MT7 series tractors are equipped with four-cylinder Perkins engines, with 80 and 93 horsepower, and feature features such as low noise and vibration, as well as a significant increase in torque and power compared to competitors. These compact machines, however, are described by Kilpp as exceptionally powerful, offering a new perspective on mechanization for crops with limited space.
LS Tractor not only focused on the mechanical performance and efficiency of the MT7 tractors, but also on ergonomics and comfort. The tractors were designed to offer a superior operator experience, with easily accessible controls, optimized cabin space and a high standard of comfort, essential for extended periods of work in the field.
Furthermore, the models are equipped with an advanced transmission with 20 forward and 20 reverse speeds, with Synchro Shuttle reversal and a Creeper super reducer, allowing agile maneuvers and precision at speeds below 1 km/h. The tractors' PTO offers three speeds, maximizing compatibility with a wide range of implements.
A modern and efficient hydraulic system, with a main pump and a secondary pump exclusively for steering, prevents loss of capacity due to steering circuit load, and remote control with three adjustable valves further improves the operational adaptability of the tractors.
With this combination of technical innovations and focus on efficiency and comfort, LS Tractor expects the new MT7 tractors to be well received in the market, representing the fusion of South Korean technology with Brazilian expertise to revolutionize mechanization in crops in restricted areas and dense plantings.
The MT7 series was featured on the cover of Cultivar Máquinas issue 242 and in the exclusive Test Drive. Check out:
