LS Tractor and Motocana enter into a partnership with a focus on market expansion

The production of sugar cane, citrus and forestry has some very specific demands in relation to its production process, mainly in terms of logistics, harvesting and storage. That's why they need special machines to move cargo, such as cranes and loaders, for example. With a focus on serving customers operating in these segments, LS Tractor, a South Korean tractor manufacturer, and Motocana entered into a partnership to expand the existing market potential in this segment for companies focused on special applications.

“It is the union of efforts to serve special markets in different regions that need a tractor with power, between 80 and 145 hp coupled to loaders to carry out handling services”, explains LS Tractor's marketing and product manager, Astor Kilpp. According to him, Motocana's equipment “fits like a glove” in the Plus lines that range from 80 to 105 hp and the H series models with 125 and 145 hp, which, in order to perform in these activities, have gained some improvements. “We believe that this partnership will yield excellent business results and activate customers that we were previously unable to serve due to the lack of the complement that Motocana offers”, says Kilpp.

Located in Piracicaba (SP), Motocana is one of the largest assemblers of customized equipment for handling heavy loads in the country and a reference in agricultural, forestry and scrap metal machinery. The company, which has more than 60 years of industrial experience, is known for on-demand production for customers across Brazil. 

The first fruits of this partnership can be seen at Agrishow, the largest agricultural technology fair in Latin America that takes place until May 03rd, in Ribeirão Preto (SP). Motocana is present at the LS Tractor stand, which is located on E17a street with equipment such as a forestry loader (CM 50 FL 300), which carries wood from two to three meters in length and a sugarcane loader (Super 2000), with capacity for load of 1200 kg, being able to lift and move an additional 5 tons/hour of sugar cane.
