After completing five years of presence in Brazil, LongPing High-Tech, a giant of corn and sorghum hybrids, delivers its new corn seed processing unit at the Paracatu (MG) site.

The complete structure now has two classification lines, industrial treatment, big bag bagging and bags of 60 thousand seeds, with a total capacity of 900 thousand bags per month and a refrigerated distribution center with a capacity of up to 1 million bags.

With the modernization of the unit, more than 1.000 jobs will be created, which will further boost the economic development of the region.

The Paracatu plant is now LongPing High-Tech's most complete plant in Brazil. In 2022 alone, the unit received more than R$220 million in investments, in addition to the R$50 million invested between 2019 and 2020. The unit is located in a strategic area, in one of the main grain producing centers in the state of Minas Gerais .

“With this new structure, Paracatu becomes our most complete unit, within one of the Brazilian regions with high production potential and very favorable to our hybrids. We are completing five years of presence in Brazil with a large volume of investments to achieve market leadership. Agriculture has enormous potential in Brazil, and the next few years will certainly be very promising and we will be in line with this growth. We are committed to economically developing the region where we are present, creating jobs and opportunities for workers and harvesters”, highlights Aldenir Sgarbossa, president of LongPing High-Tech.
