Liquidity increases and soybean prices rise in Brazil

The rhythm of negotiations involving soybeans has improved in recent days, both in spot national as for delivery in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons. According to researchers from Cepea, this warming was linked to the increase in external demand (especially from China) and the appreciation of contracts on the CME Group (Bolsa de Chicago) and the dollar against the Real.

Against In addition, soybean prices rose again on the national market and practically recovered the losses of the first fortnight of the month. Between October 15th and 22nd, Indicators ESALQ/BM&FBovespa – Paranaguá and CEPEA/ESALQ – Paraná registered significant increases of 3,6% and 2,5%, with respective closings R$ 174,62/sc and 170,58/sc for 60 kg.

It should be noted that, until the 15th of this month, the Indicators accumulated drops of 4% and 3%, and with the recent increases, both started to show a small drop of 0,55%.
