Embassies from the five continents will participate this Wednesday, 4/12, in Brasília, in the official launch of Expodireto Cotrijal 2020. The ceremony will take place at 8:30 am, at the headquarters of the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM).

The event aims to increase publicity for the fair internationally and with federal political authorities. Annually, more than 70 countries are represented at Expodireto Cotrijal, which generates more than R$2 billion in business.

“Expodireto Cotrijal is today the Brazilian fair with the largest international participation and this contributes to expanding the country's business and benefits Agro as a whole”, points out Nei César Manica, president of Cotrijal, the cooperative that organizes the fair.

In 2019, Expodireto Cotrijal brought together 268 thousand visitors and 534 exhibitors in the 98 hectares of park. R$2,4 billion in business was sent by exhibitors.

The 21st edition is scheduled for March 2nd to 6th, 2020 and the big news is the Agrodigital Arena, a space dedicated to digital agribusiness technologies that have transformed the way farmers work and seek results.

It will be 1,6 square meters, bringing together around 40 large companies and startups from global agriculture. In an arena format, the venue will also have four mini-auditoriums with simultaneous lectures by leading experts on the subject.
