Ihara launches Terminus and Sugoy for soybeans
The company promoted the simultaneous launch of Terminus, an insecticide for the control of bed bugs, and Sugoy, a fungicide for the control of rust, target spot, anthracnose and powdery mildew
Planting corn in the State of Mato Grosso (MT) increasingly requires more knowledge about pests that can affect the good development of the crop, mainly due to the greater occurrence of leafhoppers in plantations, causing the so-called stunting complex. The best alternative to avoid the problem is choosing the hybrids that will be used in planting and, with this focus, KWS Sementes brings new alternatives for the farmer to Show Safra, in Lucas do Rio Verde (MT).
“The leafhopper is a new concern for the farmer in Mato Grosso, which is why the search this year is for products that have good behavior against the stunting complex, as well as those that promote good stability, that is, regardless of the profile. of the year, they maintain their productive variability”, explains agricultural engineer, João Henrique Vasco Gonçalves, manager of the northern unit.
Among the materials presented at Show Safra, in Lucas do Rio Verde, are two launches. The K 9668 VIP3 hybrid has an early cycle and adapts to all planting times and stem quality. The K8575 PRO4 has high potential and safety in stalks and roots. These are two big news, with fields cultivated for the producer demonstration during the fair.
The event also features the recently launched K7510 VIP3, which is heading into its third harvest with excellent results in the region. “It is one of the most planted hybrids in the north of Mato Grosso due to its productive capacity that responds to high investment management, in addition to the quality of stalk, leaves and grain”, explains agronomist Bruno Cesar Basso, regional manager for the North of Mato Grosso .
Basso remembers that the K7510 VIP3 was one of the hybrids that were developed in the region, at the KWS Research Center, in Sorriso (MT). “It’s more security for the producer since the research is carried out in our region”, he explains. It is worth remembering that KWS products are the result of the strategy of continuous investment in research and development, where approximately 17% of its business volume is concentrated, focusing on the best seed genetics for Brazil.
In addition to the new options, KWS Sementes also brings the reference in off-season corn, K 9606 VIP3, the most planted hybrid in the last harvest, with 2,7 million hectares in Brazil. It is highly sought after by producers at the fair, mainly due to its good planting range and reference in productive stability.
