Armero, the company's latest launch, will be highlighted at the fair. Solution has proven effectiveness in combating diseases that affect soybean crops
Two companies that were created with the proposal to make agribusiness activities more productive and sustainable, Perfect Fligh and Natutec Drone, a global drone brand from Koppert Biological Systems, a biological crop protection company, announced a partnership to monitor the application of bio-inputs . The proposal is that producers who use macrobiologicals on their properties have information to improve the distribution of products on their crops, increasing their efficiency and increasing productivity.
Fighting pests and diseases with nature's own resources has grown in agribusiness in recent years, with the intense evolution of crop protection models. Sustainable and efficient, this new standard breaks paradigms and joins the increasingly strong trends in favor of reducing the use of chemical products to control pests and diseases.
Bioinputs also help to reduce resistance to existing chemical molecules, contributing to the creation of a more suppressive and balanced environment. According to Professor Santin Gravena, a consultant at Koppert, the adoption of biological control in the sector presents the farmer with so-called “natural enemies” and microorganisms responsible for reducing the incidence of pests and diseases that affect plants, as well as inoculants that they make crops more resistant, from the roots to the leaves.
To increase the efficiency of the application of biological pesticides, Koppert recently hired the services of Perfect Flight - a Brazilian agtech focused on spraying intelligence. The idea is to use the monitoring and tracking solutions offered by the startup to develop even more effective strategies in the biological fight against pests and diseases.
“We will manage the release of macrobiologicals and the main service contracted was the automation of the report that is delivered to the producer, previously produced in three days and which we will deliver within three minutes. All analyses, all data crossed with numbers and accessible information for decision-making, will quickly be in the hands of producers”, explained Paulo Villela, Business Development Manager at Perfect Flight.
The company dynamically reads the entire bioinput application area, in addition to also assimilating external factors such as weather conditions, proximity to springs and regions with the presence of animals, to determine the best time and application pattern. In other words, the producer receives a complete analysis to guide, in the most effective way, the protection of the plantation.
This analysis prevents the dispersion of products to other areas and, consequently, reduces expenses and protects the environment. Each meter can be essential for finances and caring for nature.
Vinícius Lopes, commercial sugar cane manager at Koppert, explains that the objective is to integrate the provision of services with the company's concept. “We want to consolidate our commitment to providing Brazilian farmers with applications and post-application reports that consider the results and efficiency of our products.”
