In the year in which it celebrates 100 years of history, Komatsu - a Japanese manufacturer of construction, mining and forestry equipment - launched the Komatsu Showroom in an online event, which brought together customers, distributors, suppliers, partners, employees and part of the company's leadership in Brazil. With the aim of being a space for relationships with the brand in an innovative and technological way, the environment features an exhibition of its product line, product support solutions, space over the centenary, auditorium, meeting rooms, Komatsu Bank and Komatsu Shop, focused on selling the brand's fashion items.

"This project was conceived in 2020, during the pandemic, and construction began in May this year, in line with our digital transformation initiatives and with the aim of strengthening relationships with our customers and distributors, in addition to providing, in a simple way, , quick and easy, detailed information about the brand's history, values ​​and all the solutions that Komatsu offers in the Brazilian market", says Chrystian Garcia, Distributor Development and Marketing Manager at Komatsu's Construction Equipment Division in Brazil.

The Komatsu Showroom, the official name of the space, is a solution where users can find detailed and interactive information about Komatsu solutions available in Brazil. "The idea is that the visitor feels like they are in the place and that everything seems very real. To achieve this, we invest a lot of time in the details of each area and functions available during navigation so that the experience is special", reinforces Garcia. In this way, the showroom features a lot of content and interactive points that users can use freely, from equipment technical sheets, which can be downloaded via totem, to interaction points with each product on display.

100 year trajectory

The inauguration of the virtual space reinforces the importance of technological innovation that has always permeated Komatsu's trajectory and is one of the fundamental principles established by its founder, Meitaro Takeuchi, in 1921, the year in which the company was created.

This year, Komatsu reaches its 100 years of history, delivering quality and excellence to its customers, distributors, employees and partners, always guided by the Dantotsu philosophy - a Japanese word that represents the concepts of unique and unmatched - and the constant search for innovation and updating all its processes and products.

With the principles established by Takeuchi, throughout this century, Komatsu also emphasized the importance of high product quality, human training and the challenge of global expansion, developing the necessary solutions and creating value for its partners.
