KO Máquinas celebrates the opening of new markets for foreign sales

KO Máquinas Agrícolas, a manufacturer of sprayers and atomizers, located in Jaboticabal, in the interior of São Paulo, in recent years has invested in its processes to provide customers with quality and innovation. All this investment started to pay off. Proof of this was the agreement recently signed with the multinational John Deere, where KO became a supplier in Brazil of boom sprayers for the GreenSystem line.

The new equipment supplied to John Deere has three lines, two of which are the PV1006 and PV1008 models, coupling to the tractor's hydraulic lifting system (3 points) and the PV1020 model coupling the traction bar, which together totaling 31 versions with varying boom sizes (12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 meters nominal width) and spray control systems. “This agreement proves the quality and reliability of our products and shows that we are on the right path”, says the superintendent director of KO Máquinas, Ronaldo Nogueira da Cruz. 

With the announcement and launches presented at this year's Agrishow, the company expanded its range of business with the sales of its main products to new markets outside Brazil. The greatest demand in this new cycle has been mainly from producers in Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay and Chile. “KO has shown the market the quality of its products and the launch of new equipment endorses this evolutionary process”, says the director. 

KO Máquinas launches

Among the company's new launches, the highlight is the “Mãozinha” directed air atomizer. Among the possibilities of the equipment is the precision in directing the drops to the target, providing uniform coverage with a reduction in the amount of spray applied. Furthermore, the novelty has a directed air duct system, sectioned into 6 or 8 outlets (little hands) and a centrifugal turbine driven by a speed multiplier box, eliminating the use of pulleys and belts.

The equipment will be available in versions with coupling to the tractor's hydraulic lifting system – 3 points (400 L tank) or coupled to the drawbar (700, 1.000, 1.500 and 2.000 L). “The low spray volume and less maintenance result in lower operating costs, greater autonomy and sprayer availability”, highlights Cruz.

The company's portfolio also includes the A4000 CI Articulated Atomizer, the 800 and 2000 liter sprayer with a spray bar with a 20 m wide reach and also the spray cannon with several new features in its new version “The cannon is ideal for spraying with a predominance of small to medium-sized droplets. The turbine is driven by a transmission box containing two speed settings plus neutral position, eliminating the use of pulleys and belts, providing less maintenance and greater efficiency”, highlights Cruz.
