Kepler Weber ended the first quarter of 2023 with net revenue of R$323,1 million, a result 26,2% lower than that of the same period last year, which totaled R$437,6 million. Net revenue from the “Farms” segment reached R$107,4 million, a reduction of 12,4% compared to the same period in 2022.

According to the document released to the market, the company appears to be "resilient and prepared in the face of the current agribusiness scenario". The ROIC in the first quarter was 80,3%, “maintaining an exuberant level”.

Given the expectation for the 2022/23 grain harvest, with record projections of 313 million tons, Kepler Weber sees "a consistent demand for storage and post-harvest solutions throughout 2023".

Changes to groups

Kepler Weber has made changes to its business segments. Customers who belonged to the post-harvest portfolio were classified into two groups: (a) farms, which correspond to rural producers; and (b) agro-industries, which are corporate accounts such as trading companies, industries, cooperatives and cereal producers, which are added to the large-scale industries previously included in this segment.
