John Deere tractor and Kuhn rake set world record

The duo made up of a John Deere 6250R tractor and Kuhn's GA 15131 rake broke a world record by raking an area of ​​hay measuring 188,9 hectares in eight hours of work.

The challenge, validated by the Test Center of the German Agricultural Society (DLG), took place at the end of August on a dairy farm in the mountainous Central Jutland region of Denmark, with farm owner Mikael Skeldal in the operator's seat. .

The JD 6250R tractor was equipped with Auto Trac autopilot, Gen4 CommandCenter console and CommandPR Joystick and pulled the Kuhn GA 15131 four-rotor rake, which reaches a working width of 14,7 meters.

The set reached a maximum working speed of 22 km/h and achieved an average performance of 23,6 h/h.
