Conab analyzes conditions of second and third harvest crops
Dry weather prevailed in the central region of the country, which favored the maturation and harvest of second-crop crops
John Deere, a global technology company that provides software and equipment for the agricultural, construction and forestry sectors, presents at the 46th edition of Expointer a complete line of equipment and solutions that serve small to large producers throughout the entire harvest. With national and international prominence, the event takes place between August 26th and September 3rd in the city of Esteio (RS). The company's main new features at the fair are the 5EN and 5E tractor lines, which will receive upgrades, available from 2024, with updated cabin versions and connection to the MTG modem.
Focused on meeting the needs of small producers, the 5EN series narrow tractors have a new cabin, which was ergonomically designed to have up to 15% more visibility and 25% less vibration with the pneumatic seat option, resulting in more safety , productivity and less operator fatigue. From 2024 onwards, models in the series and the 5E line will be connected via the MTG modem, which will allow monitoring of the machine, from its health to the operations being carried out, all in real time.
“Connectivity came to make life easier for producers and increasingly encourage precision agriculture. Through the MTG modem, the farmer can monitor his operation in the John Deere Operations Center™ and other digital tools, being able to plan and analyze all stages of the production cycle”, reports Marcelo Lopes, Sales Director at John Deere Brazil.
Thinking about offering a complete line of tractors that serve small to medium producers, the 3036EN is present at the fair, the smallest and most versatile tractor sold by John Deere in Brazil, with a focus on family farming and special crops; the 6M series, which has a portfolio with powers from 135 to 210 hp; and the 7M models, which are highly versatile and meet the needs of customers in the grain and sugarcane segments. For large properties, there is the 9R line, with six models, ranging from 390 to 640 hp.
Other equipment on display at Expointer 2023 seeks to offer customers solutions that range from planting to harvesting, such as the 1109 planter, the new M4040 sprayer with Inc Pro and the self-propelled PLA 125J, in addition to the S790 and S440 harvesters.
In addition, there is yellow line equipment to reinforce the SLC Máquinas dealer's first fair as a representative of John Deere construction solutions for the South region, such as the 310L backhoe loader, the 444 G wheel loader and the 210G excavator. The company is also being represented by the dealership Alvorada.
At Expointer 2023, customers who wish to purchase equipment from the brand can count on the exclusive credit lines of the 2023/24 Harvest Plan and direct financing from Banco John Deere. For farmers covered by Pronaf, interest rates will be 5% p.a. Moderfrota has rates of 12,5% p.a., while Moderfrota Pronamp offers 10,5% p.a. For all resources, the payment term is up to seven years. In addition, Banco John Deere will offer a rate of 1,49% p.m. for financing parts and services, with up to 12 months to pay.
Visitors to the fair can get a closer look at the Connected Solutions Center (CSC), a remote support service for customer and partner operations that uses a database – collected by the machines themselves during operations – to identify opportunities to reduce costs and equipment optimization.
Brazil currently has 42 Connected Solutions Centers to assist producer management – the world's largest concentration of these technology centers in a single country. This is an innovation that changes the way we work: currently 85% of tickets are opened or resolved remotely. In addition to effectiveness, remote support has a positive influence on the producer's pocket: the average cost of services/technical assistance, when carried out or started remotely, is up to 60% lower, with great savings on travel expenses and, above everything, reducing machine downtime.
In post-sales, John Deere Fidelidade, a benefits program that turns purchases of services and parts into rewards, offers a special activation for those who are already customers or for those who register for the first time.
There is also an exclusive space for Unimil by John Deere. The brand is an alternative in parts for all stages of the production cycle: preparation, planting, processing and harvesting. Through Unimil by John Deere, long-time customers have access to a complete portfolio with great cost-benefit for replacing out-of-warranty equipment, in addition to full support from the largest Dealer Network in Brazil.
