John Deere presents a new era of agriculture during the 26th Agrishow

In the 26th edition of Agrishow, John Deere will show how it works the connection between machines, technology, people and intelligence. From April 29th to May 3rd, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), the company displays machine learning, IoT (Internet of Things) and data analysis resources that, when integrated, contribute to greater efficiency and profitability of crops. Through cutting-edge technologies, John Deere combines services and solutions with a portfolio of machines for all sizes and profiles of farmers.

Covering more than 10 m², the company's stand puts the spotlight on the Operation center – technological data analysis platform –, which from now on is largely made possible by a pioneering service from John Deere:Rural Connectivity.

Aiming to contribute to the greater productive efficiency of Brazilian farmers, John Deere took the lead in discussions and alternatives to overcome one of the biggest obstacles for rural producers: the deficiency in telecommunications infrastructure in Brazil's fields, which until then had been preventing farmers from could use the technological potential of machines to their fullest. Conceptually launched at Agrishow 2018 in partnership with Trópico, the Rural Connectivity service became a reality and, at this Agrishow 2019, it is commercially presented to all producers in the country. It is the agriculture of the future that is already in the fields, and visitors to the John Deere stand you can see online real cases of producers already connected to the system.

This year, John Deere also presents the first connected software that contributes to the Operations Center. They were developed by strategic partners in precision agriculture, highlights in the national market. Strider, for example, presents its solution for identifying pests, as does Agrian, which shows its software for field management and storage of products applied to the plantation. Also on the list are Metos, TerrAvion, Agritask, Tecgraf, Optimus and Taranis. All of them will have an exclusive station to serve the public during the fair.

For the Sales Director at John Deere Brazil, Rodrigo Bonato, the Era of Collaborative Digital Agriculture has arrived. "We created acollaborative ecosystemin favor of the development of Brazilian agribusiness, contributing to transforming precision agriculture into decision-making agriculture. It is a huge step towards repositioning the country as a global food provider in the face of the challenges we see ahead. With these technologies, we were able to show the world that produce more and preserve more the environment is possible", he adds.

Connected to the Operations Center, the company launches four highlights in its portfolio:

- 9RX Tractor, which now has a rubber track system, thus ensuring that all the force (more than 500 hp of power) is transmitted to the ground efficiently to pull the largest implements.

- DB ExactEmerge planter, planting at speeds of up to 16 km/h.

- M4000 sprayer, which features ExactApply, an intelligent tip system that allows unprecedented precision in the application of agricultural pesticides in all conditions.

- S700 harvester, fully automated, with two intelligent cameras that take images every two seconds to read the grain passage and make automatic adjustments to the machine every three minutes. A revolutionary system in technological field harvesting.

With the integration of equipment into the Operations Center, the producer can measure everything that was planned and executed, receive maps of soil, planting, spraying, harvesting, machine operation data – such as consumption, availability, capacity, management data of the fleet. In addition, the producer will also be able to aggregate data from their consultants, agronomic partners and even the market on their platform. "These new technologies will break industry paradigms. Now, farmers have access to smart equipment that talks to each other and self-adjusts. John Deere customers have, in fact, joined the call agriculture 4.0", says Bonato

Knowledge Hub

So that the public can learn in depth about all these new features and learn how to use the full potential of the company's new machines and services, John Deere transforms its stand into a knowledge hub, open to visitors, with mini-workshops every 30 minutes. In total, there are 30 different lectures, with practical topics that impact the farmer's daily life, and tips for improving planting and harvesting, for example.

To facilitate location by segment, visitors will this time be able to see the company's portfolio divided according to the size of the property. In the location of the small ones, for example, there will be the new 5E series of utility tractors, which can come standard with autopilot, thus using the same technology as larger machines. Furthermore, the company welcomes PLA, a brand acquired in 2018, to its stand at Agrishow for the first time, with the sprayer Orion 250 – traditional for its ease of operation and maintenance –, which complements the John Deere line for small and medium-sized producers.

In total, more than 40 solutions, including machines, agricultural implements and equipment, for agriculture, livestock, construction and forestry, are on display at the stand. After-Sales and Financial services, from Banco John Deere and Consortium John Deere, are also available throughout the week, while the company's 30 dealers and six distributors Construction and Forestry Division participate in the event to offer support, clarify doubts and serve customers, with special business conditions.
