After crossing low levels, coffee prices rise at the end of 2019
Until the month of October, values were weakened, due to still comfortable supply prospects in the 2019/20 harvest year.
John Deere participates for the second time in the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) technology fair. The company will present new developments in precision agriculture. It will also have the R4038 sprayer on its stand, with application technology and a carbon fiber bar longer than 120 feet. For the first time, John Deere will hold three rounds of chats: it will be "Tireside chats" where representatives and a Deere customer will be interviewed to exemplify the success in adopting new agricultural technologies. Two of the chats will be available on John Deere's LinkedIn page and the third on the company's Twitter.
"This year, we invited a customer to share stories and show how the company's technology has helped their production", says John Deere public relations manager, Laurel Caes. "It's an excellent opportunity for the technology industry to visit our stand and learn more about food production and the importance of technology in this context."
One of the main reasons for John Deere to participate in CES 2020 is to get closer to other new technologies - current and with potential - that can increase the productivity, profitability and sustainability of those who produce. "Being at CES helps the company to be connected to the greatest technological advances, always with the aim of bringing these solutions to customers", says Caes.
The technology industry is taking notice of John Deere's presence at CES. In November 2019, the company received an honorable mention for the 8RX tractor, in the "Tech for a better world" category, at the CES Innovation Awards - an award that recognizes the best technology-related consumer products. "Our focus remains on providing innovative solutions that help the consumer. We are extremely pleased with this award, coming from a leading technology organization. It shows our commitment to agriculture, innovation and technology", says the senior vice president of the Intelligent Solutions (ISG) from John Deere, John Stone.
The company will make two of its talks available on LinkedIn and one on Twitter. See the agenda adapted to Brasília time:
