John Deere announced the launch of Operations Center Pro Service, a new digital platform that expands the capabilities of using, maintaining, and repairing agricultural, construction, forestry, and gardening machinery. The tool supports both connected and offline equipment and replaces Customer Service Advisor, which will be discontinued within a year.
Pro Service allows you to perform diagnostics, access manuals and fault codes, perform interactive tests, perform calibrations, and reprogram electronic components. Users can access these features with an annual license fee of $195 per machine.
Access is via the John Deere Operations Center. The owner registers the equipment using the serial number. Advanced functions, such as reprogramming, require an electronic data link connection.
The new platform focuses on content filtered by year and model. Navigation is designed to facilitate access to useful information for quickly troubleshooting issues.
Local service providers can also use Pro Service. With the owner's permission, these technicians gain access to data and functionality to support machine repairs.
According to Denver Caldwell, vice president of aftermarket and customer support, the launch reinforces the company's commitment to the right to repair. He affirms that John Deere will continue to enhance the machine ownership experience.
