John Deere brings to the market another model from the DB line, the MaxEmerge 5e planter. With this, the company's portfolio, which already included MaxEmerge 5 (entry technology) and ExactEmerge (intelligence with high precision and speeds of up to 16 km/h), now also offers the intermediate version of the doser.
The new machine will help producers meet better planting windows with reliability and precision, higher levels of productivity, agility and ease of adjustments and greater equipment availability, in addition to counting on John Deere's precision agriculture technologies. The solution also brings to the market an extremely efficient doser with electrical transmission (without cables), which allows for greater seed savings.
“One of the challenges that customers face most is planting with high quality, lower cost and within the ideal cultivation window. To do this, they look for planters with differentiated technology on the market, with which they can monitor all performance remotely”, explains Marcelo Lopes, Sales Director at John Deere Brazil.
DB MaxEmerge 5e delivers superior planting quality with an increase in operational capacity by 9%. Furthermore, it provides a 16% increase in seed distribution accuracy and promotes seed savings of up to 7%, due to line-by-line disconnection. The planter also reduces opening and closing time by 15% and reduces the time to adjust the planting line by up to 50 minutes.
“The MaxEmerge 5e planters were developed for farmers looking for greater productivity and uniformity in their crops. With the new technology, the customer saves time and money, all with superior planting quality”, adds the director.
Producers will also have access, regardless of the category of machine they purchase, to John Deere's intelligent and integrated ecosystem with the Operations Center, a tool that provides live access to data and metrics. In the event of any work quality anomalies or machine health issues, farmers will be notified remotely and can make adjustments to optimize machine performance.
