The sugarcane market is the focus of constant investment by John Deere, such as the expansion of the Catalão (GO) factory in March, which increased the production capacity of sugarcane harvesters in Brazil. Now, the latest news for the segment is the 624K-II Loader Version for Sugarcane Bagasse, launched at Agrishow.

This machine has a 5,4 m³ bucket, suitable for the density of the material handled in this use and which offers greater production for sugarcane mills that operate with the need to vent the return and feed the boiler with bagasse 24 hours a day. In addition, the loader for this application comes configured with a rear axle developed specifically for this equipment, an automatic engine fan reversal system to expel accumulated debris, wheel slip control to offer better traction and less tire wear. and the appropriate pre-filters. All these features aim to offer greater productivity, increased mechanical availability and reduced operating costs.

“This model brings all the other benefits of the new K-II series of John Deere loaders, such as fuel economy and agility, which are fundamental items in any operation, whether agricultural or construction” explains Roberto Marques, director of Sales of the Construction & Forestry division of John Deere Brazil. “The new version for sugarcane bagasse allows for up to a 10% reduction in fuel consumption and cycles up to 5% faster compared to the previous model thanks to changes in the transmission”, adds Marques.

“The transmission now offers five speeds as standard and an innovative adaptive neutralization system, with which the machine automatically neutralizes the transmission, ensuring greater efficiency in operation”, details the director.

Safety items include keyless starting and an optional rear camera with Radar Object Detection System (RODS). They also have a standard spindle filtration and cooling system on the 624K-II model.

Maintenance of the machines is facilitated due to the exclusive Quad-Cool system, which positions the radiators in a box format to ensure greater efficiency in heat exchange and easier access to cleaning, even in environments with high waste density, such as in waste management. sugarcane bagasse.

This equipment also has the JD Link system, a telematics solution, which allows operations to be managed from anywhere, at any time, using an internet connection. The ability to collect and process information allows customers to manage the availability, performance and production costs of machines and the business, in addition to having better remote diagnostics and receiving preventative maintenance alerts.

The 624K-II sugarcane bagasse version, like other John Deere loaders, is produced in Brazil, at the factory located in Indaiatuba (SP), which allows financing through government credit programs aimed at the acquisition of this equipment.
