John Deere launches 5E utility tractor at the Coopavel Rural Show

Show Rural Coopavel opens the season of major agricultural fairs, from February 4th to 8th, in Cascavel (PR). During the period, producers of different sizes and cultures will be able to check out in the John Deere space, represented by its dealers MA Máquinas, Global, Horizon, Ciarama, Macponta, Verdesul and Cocamar, in addition to its Construction distributor, Veneza Equipamentos Sul, news in agriculture precision, technology, machinery and after-sales solutions.

With expectations for the fair, John Deere presents new models of its 5E series tractor, a utility vehicle with powers below 100 hp. Now, in addition to the machine already being equipped with the MAR-1 engine (a more rigid emissions control system, which enables low carbon emissions), the series has a new 12-speed forward and reverse transmission system, which offers better speed scaling, quick and easy maneuvers. In addition, it can be equipped with factory autopilot, pneumatic seat and LED lights, providing greater operator comfort. The model is for activities on small properties, from livestock farming to the cultivation of coffee, fruits and grains.

"We chose the Rural Show to launch the 5E, as Paraná is a strategic market for grain production, in addition to having a good performance in livestock farming", explains Eduardo Martini, Sales Manager at John Deere Brazil. "This new model of tractor comes to make life easier for small farmers, who need a modern, efficient and economical machine, and know that they can find this solution at John Deere", he points out.

The 5E Series, like all of the company's machines, can connect to the Operations Center, a platform that integrates operational and agronomic data collected through JDLink – the brand's fleet management system. With this tool, it is possible to visualize the crop cycle, from soil preparation to harvest, in addition to analyzing information such as speed maps, applied rates and productivity, planning the work that each equipment will perform, among others.

"We believe that technology should be present in all Brazilian properties, regardless of their size, location or culture. In this sense, the Operations Center makes it easier to exchange information with consultants and also between machines and the office. All this data gathered and connected, they add intelligence to support agronomic decisions, making strategic information available to the farmer anywhere and at any time", says Martini.

Options for different steps

Completing the family of tractors, alongside the new 5E, John Deere will bring to producers in Paraná the 6150J and 7230J, medium-sized models, and the 8R series, aimed at large properties. As for cultural treatments, the stand will have two models of the brand's sprayers, the 4630, already established in the region, and the M4025, an innovation from the company. The equipment already comes with Field Cruise, which allows fuel savings and has an intelligent Exact Apply tip system - which offers greater precision in application, and brings quality and savings to the crop.

Another new product in spraying is PLA equipment, a brand acquired by John Deere in September last year. With technologies that complement the company's portfolio, expanding the range of options offered to farmers, PLA will be presented to the public with the Hydra 200 and Orion 250 sprayers. These products are now sold exclusively through the John Deere dealer network.

And, aiming to offer a more complete solution and cultural treatments, John Deere launches at Coopavel a line of sprayers through its GreenSystem brand with models mounted at the 3rd point of the tractor and models pulled by tractors, with capacities from 600 to 2.000 liters , meeting the diverse needs of Brazilian producers.

The customer who visits the stand will see three models of the S Series harvesters: the S430, with the Green System corn platform, the S550 and the S660, both also equipped with platforms (625F and 630D). The difference between this equipment is the replacement of straw extractor technology with a rotor, which represents 25% more performance, 50% better grain quality and 75% less losses. The models have precision agriculture features, such as productivity maps and autopilot, and are lighter equipment, which generates less soil compaction.

In addition to this product portfolio, a series of implements will be available to customers at the Coopavel Rural Show, such as the Air Seeder, the Green System harrow and brush cutter, and the GreenSystem nutrient distributor, integrated into John Deere tractors.

The Construction division will be present through Veneza Equipamentos Sul, distributor of John Deere products for the State. The 310L backhoe loader and the 524K-II loader - equipment that can be used in various agricultural applications, such as digging ditches, maintaining roads and irrigation canals.

In addition, John Deere will provide customers with its after-sales service, which includes professionals who carry out optimization services and preventive maintenance, as well as the availability of parts, in order to ensure that the machines deliver their potential and contribute to greater crop productivity. Visitors will be able to count on services from Banco John Deere and the company's National Consortium.
