John Deere, through its dealers, presents its launches and portfolio in equipment, precision agriculture and after-sales at the 20th edition of Expodireto Cotrijal, from March 11th to 15th, in Não-me-Toque (RS). Due to the strength of family farming in Rio Grande do Sul, the company is taking its new 5E Series to the fair, made up of utility tractors that have the same technology as the company's large machines.
The model, ideal for small properties, comes with LED lights, which offer more comfort to the operator, especially at night, pneumatic seat and the option to leave with factory autopilot. It also has a MAR-1 engine (emissions control system that allows low carbon emissions) and a 12-speed forward and reverse transmission system, which helps farmers with faster and easier maneuvers. Still focused on this segment, the company brings new GreenSystem sprayers, in trailed options and mounted on the 3rd point of the tractor. This line can be equipped with spray and section control systems, which guarantee greater efficiency in the application of pesticides, increasing productivity and reducing costs.
"We are very optimistic for Expodireto. The soybean harvest begins this month and the expectation is that grain production in this harvest will be even greater than in the 2017/2018 season", says Eduardo Martini, Sales Manager at John Deere Brazil. "The farmer from Rio Grande do Sul is among those who most seek technology to produce more and better. Now, with the collection and analysis of data that technology provides, we have achieved what we call 'decision agriculture', which allows assertive decision making, at any time and in any place. And the results are there, with bigger harvests year after year", he adds.
John Deere operates at all stages of the production process to connect these four points: machines, technology, people and intelligence. By managing data on all assets and at all stages of farming, combined with the expertise of dealers, the company offers greater operational efficiency to do what needs to be done in the best way possible. "Increasingly, we are a company that goes far beyond 'iron', but, above all, provides intelligence to operations in the field. We are moving towards synchronization of management and equipment, with data in clouds and 'total connection'. In this sense it is that we operate today, to enable and offer integrated solutions to customers", he explains.
With a fundamental role in Brazilian agriculture, Rio Grande do Sul today produces around 16% of the national soybean harvest and 80% of rice, according to data from Conab (National Supply Company). This harvest, Rio Grande do Sul will be one of the highlights in Brazil's soybean production, thanks to the climate and technology used by the people of Rio Grande do Sul, mainly due to the growth in soybean production in the southern half of the state, in integration with rice crops. Also according to the agency, this year the State will harvest 18,7 million tons of the oilseed, an increase of 9%.
The producer from Rio Grande do Sul was one of the major contributors to the development of national agriculture. According to data from the 2006 IBGE Agricultural Census, around 86% of establishments are family farmers, the third state with the highest number of people employed in family farming. "We understand the importance of a good harvest and 5E comes to offer technology to our customers, capable of increasing the productivity of small properties", adds Martini.
Complete portfolio of solutions and services
In addition to the new 5E series, visitors will find at the company's stand the 6J and 7J tractors, medium and large, and the 8R, also for large properties, developed to provide the best performance in the field, with all John Deere technology. Thinking about cultural treatments, the company takes its new line of sprayers to Expodireto, represented by the M4025 model. The model is ideal for the characteristics of Rio Grande do Sul, due to the peculiarities of the state's terrain, as it has technologies such as Exact Apply, an intelligent tip system that offers greater precision and quality in application, and Field Cruise, which offers greater fuel economy.
For harvesting, John Deere takes its renowned S Series, represented by the S430, S550 (with the Green System corn platform) and S690 models, all with precision agriculture features, such as autopilot, productivity map and JDLink. In precision agriculture, the Operations Center and JDLink systems will be presented at the fair, which manage online data and machine telemetry, respectively. Both will be connected to the machines in the fair's dynamics area, monitoring operations in real time.
The 210G LC excavator and the 310L backhoe loader, from the company's Construction division, will be available at Expodireto Cotrijal. Both are widely used in agribusiness, including in Rio Grande do Sul, with the first being used for moving gravel and maintaining dams and the second being versatile, with application in opening ditches, maintaining roads and irrigation canals, among others. others. John Deere's Construction division at the fair will be represented by Verdes Vales, distributor for the segment in Rio Grande do Sul.
