John Deere, Kinze Manufacturing and Ag Leader Technology today announced a collaboration agreement to facilitate the combination of quality equipment solutions and digital solutions offered by the three companies.

Under the agreement, farmers operating Kinze and Ag Leader planting and display products will now have the option to seamlessly integrate their agronomic data with the John Deere Operations Center. This initiative promises to significantly simplify the agricultural management process, allowing a more comprehensive and detailed view of operations in real time, enhancing data-based decision making.

The companies also agreed to resolve all outstanding litigation, with John Deere licensing planting technology to Kinze and Ag Leader. This aspect of the agreement ensures that customers continue to have access to True Speed and SureSpeed technologies, which are critical to efficient, high-precision planting operations.

Aaron Wetzel, vice president of production systems and precision agriculture at John Deere, expressed pride in the solutions developed by the company, emphasizing that the agreement puts customers first, resulting in a more seamless integration of Kinze's planting solutions with John Deere equipment and technologies. Wetzel reiterated the company's commitment to helping all its customers, including those with mixed fleets, be more productive, profitable and sustainable.

Susanne Veatch, president of Kinze, highlighted the importance of True Speed technology returning to the market, mentioning that data collection and creation is a key component of these technologies. Veatch highlighted the benefits for joint customers using the John Deere Operations Center, ensuring seamless integration of data generated by equipment controlled by Blue Vantage.

Al Myers, president of Ag Leader, shared his excitement that SureSpeed technology will once again be available to customers, underscoring the company's focus on delivering tangible solutions to the market through quality precision products. Myers highlighted the importance of connecting with other platforms such as the John Deere Operations Center through AgFiniti, allowing farmers to map and analyze data in a single location, regardless of the brand of equipment.

In addition to the current agreement, Deere and Kinze have announced plans to explore future technology collaborations, with details to be shared at a later date.
