John Deere will be present at the Bahia Farm Show 2022, one of the biggest agribusiness showcases for the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. With an exhibition of machines and sensory activations, the company's stand highlights all the technology behind the equipment. The event takes place from May 31st to June 4th, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Bahia.

Technological innovations and solutions are increasingly important so that producers can obtain maximum productivity from their crops, with cost reduction and sustainability. “Brazilian agriculture is an undeniable force and, every year, it remains a fundamental pillar of the country's GDP. John Deere seeks to meet the needs that a high-performance crop has to produce with efficiency and quality”, points out Marcelo Lopes, Sales Director at John Deere Brazil.

One of the main highlights of the space is the company's new model of cotton picker, the CP770, which will be officially presented to the Brazilian market. The machine offers the producer an increase in harvesting speed, denser and larger bales, as well as a new cabin that provides more technology and ergonomics. The new features also include a 5% increase in speed, which corresponds to 1,8 more hectares in 10 hours of work, and a 20% efficiency gain in fuel consumption.

The ExactApply system's interactive X-ray will be available to visitors. It is an LED screen, positioned on a rail, which can be dragged to the left or right. As the screen moves sideways, the exposed image changes and reveals an X-ray of the ExactApply system's operation, which ensures intelligent tip control and allows growers to optimize productivity with a greater range of spray speeds.

Also on display at the John Deere stand at the fair will be the 9RX, 8R, 7J, 6M and 5E tractors, the S700 harvester, the M4040 self-propelled sprayer, a DB planter (with row panel, including the 5e model) and a nutrient distributor .

In its last edition, in 2019, the Bahia Farm Show registered 69 thousand visitors, in addition to a turnover of more than R$ 1,9 billion. “The show is a great opportunity to showcase John Deere's connected portfolio, which allows producers to use the right machine, at the right time and in the right place. It is a very opportune moment to reconnect and strengthen ties between the company, its representatives in the region and customers", adds Lopes.
