To begin this new way of relating to rural producers and operators in the construction and infrastructure areas, the brand launches its first digital content hub, John Deere Conecta, which combines the virtual with the real, where the customer interacts with the entire John Deere ecosystem and have access to the best purchasing conditions and chat with your dealer directly from your computer or cell phone.

"Our technological ecosystem is increasingly intelligent and advanced", points out Paulo Herrmann, president of John Deere Brazil. For him, the agricultural and construction sectors are increasingly embracing new technologies. "The producer is already prepared for innovation. Even with some structural challenges in the country, the machines are more intuitive and, when added to the customer's knowledge, they bring a great gain in productivity and savings. Overall, everyone wins. In addition to being a space to connect with the brand, promote debates and trends, the hub maintains our strength: the relationship of trust with farmers and builders, especially in this time of social distancing", he assesses.

The platform allows customers to take a tour of products and solutions, in addition to receiving full support from the company's dealers and specialists. The digital environment will be a showcase for the company and will present trends, machines and services. The channel will also have talks from experts and video content.

"A few years ago, we introduced the "John Deere Conecta" concept to give our customers the benefit of having in their hands, at once, the best productivity of machines and their technologies, with the support and consultancy that the brand and the network can offer", recalls Herrmann. The company's next step is to evolve towards the "John Deere Ecosystem" concept: the intelligence generated by each item in the system integrated via the cloud. From then on, all sides of the equation gain in knowledge, analysis and availability in the field, since failures, adverse conditions and favorable conditions for better performance are learned, anticipated and resolved.

In this ecosystem, in addition to the integrations between John Deere machines (hardware and software) that in themselves generate more productivity, your data is consolidated in the Operations Center, where the best scenarios for executing operations are analyzed and processed, including the connection from other platforms and authorized professionals, who can provide important data for the activity, such as mechanical, operational and agronomic prescriptions.

The advantages of having your hectares connected go beyond the specialized support that the John Deere network can provide: it includes the connection of machines (Iot) and the learning generated in each operation and each harvest. Thus, the fully connected operation evolves as it learns the best paths to productivity.

In this new step towards digital transformation, the company seeks to advance and get closer to new generations in the field. "John Deere has invested in innovation since its foundation. In 2020, we are connecting our customers on a single platform. Brazilian agriculture has evolved and we have evolved together", says Cristiano Correia, Marketing Director for Latin America.

John Deere Conecta can be accessed via the internet and through the exclusive app. The virtual environment resembles an exhibition pavilion and is divided into four environments: Machines, After-sales, Precision Agriculture and Information about the company, in addition to having a chat for contacting dealers, consulting financial solutions such as the Bank and the John Deere Consortium and access to discount coupons.

In the hub, each product will have technical information, expert videos and promotional offers when applicable. Soon, the machines will have augmented reality images and the customer will have a view from inside the cabin. Visitors will also be able to access an agenda of lectures, lives and virtual meetings. John Deere Conecta will be available in web and app versions. Access and live this virtual experience at: conecta.deere.com.br.
