CESB records higher productivity of Brazilian soybeans in Buri (SP)
From each hectare the national winner, João Carlos da Cruz, harvested 120 bags
Jacto participated on Wednesday, June 29, in the National Forum for Maximum Soy Productivity. The event, held at the headquarters of the Cooperativa Agroindustrial de Maringá (Cocamar), brought together the main states with the highest soybean productivity in the 2015/16 harvest.
With the challenge of overcoming barriers related to climate and the economy, rural producers registered in the Maximum Soy Productivity Challenge, carried out by the Brazilian Soy Strategic Committee (CESB), of which Jacto is a sponsor, demonstrated the sustainable viability of producing more , in the same area and had the highest soybean productivity in the last harvest.
The champions in productivity in the 2015/16 harvest reached the mark of 100 bags per hectare, exceeding the national average. 208 audits were carried out to determine the productive capacity of those registered. In total, the Committee's website received 4.400 registrations, from 799 municipalities, distributed across 17 Brazilian states.
Farmer João Carlos da Cruz, from Buri (SP), is the new champion of the Maximum Soy Productivity Challenge, carried out by the Brazilian Soy Strategic Committee (CESB). When registering for the Challenge, he presented an area of 10 hectares that had a productivity of 120,07 bags per hectare, more than double what Brazil achieves on average annually.
The President of the Agricultural Division, Fernando Gonçalves, and the Marketing Manager, Wanderson Tosta, attended the event on Jacto.
