Considered the most important agricultural fair in the citrus industry, Expocitros is consolidated as an important opportunity for fruit growers, researchers and industry to exchange information, with the aim of bringing more efficiency, productivity, health and sustainability to the sector.
Plant health, technological innovation, nutrition, economics and public policies in the sector will be the central themes of the 47th edition of the fair, which takes place between the 6th and 9th of June in Cordeirópolis, SP.
Jacto strongly believes in the project and is very happy to be able to contribute to the success of the 2022 edition. The company will be present with a qualified team to serve all partners and customers, presenting the latest news and machines developed especially to work in the citrus industry. Known for bringing complete solutions in the spraying area, Jacto has constantly been bringing more efficiency to treating orchards.
In this edition of Expocitros, Jacto will exhibit to the public four models of equipment already consolidated in the market: the Arbus 4000 Tower, present in the main citrus farms in Brazil; the Arbus 2000 Super Export, whose versatility, durability and simplicity put it in a prominent position; the Jatão 600, with its versatility and long spray range; and the Condor 800 AM18 Multicontrol, which takes tractor spraying of annual crops to new levels of technology.
In the area of innovation, Jacto has been a pioneer in the development of autonomous spraying solutions for citrus, with the Arbus 4000 JAV: an autonomous self-propelled sprayer that has the ability to perform the spraying service without the need to have an operator working in person at the machine, which reduces the risks of contamination, and is combined with the operational gains possible with the cutting-edge technologies present in the equipment. The Arbus 4000 JAV is capable of adjusting its settings according to the crop canopy, changing the speed of each of the eight fans that make up the spray tower, adjusting its position in relation to the crop, maintaining the appropriate distance to ensure coverage uniform and reduce losses, open and close each of the eight spray segments according to need, considering the size of the crop.
Another concept that Jacto brings to the sector is the Arbus 4000 Tower equipped with the Multicontrol system. In this equipment, four presence sensors are responsible for activating each of the four segments of the spray tower. Thus, new plantings or replants receive spraying only from the lower segment of the tower, while adult trees receive spraying from the entire tower. In this way, the locations of failures caused by plant eradication, as well as points where replanting took place, receive only the necessary quantity of products, in order to substantially save the use of these inputs that represent large chunks of the production cost.
Another new feature in the Arbus 4000 Tower Multicontrol is the maintenance of a constant application volume, with quick correction of the flow rate when changing speeds. It also has a system that allows the use of Telemetry, making the operator's life easier when driving the machine, avoiding failures and overlaps, and enabling the farm administrator to have precise control over the fleet and the operations being carried out, as well as the planning of all farm applications.
