Jacto, an agricultural machinery and equipment company based in Pompeia, SP, in partnership with COOXUPÉ, prepared a promotional action for FEMAGRI, which takes place between the 20th and 22nd of February, in Guaxupé, MG, for its equipment models battery-powered backpacks, the Jacto PJB (battery-powered backpack sprayer) and the Jacto DJB (battery-powered doser and backpack sprayer), which will have special conditions for purchase.

The Jacto PJB model, developed for professional spraying, is available in 16 and 20 liter versions. Used for various purposes, from herbicide applications to insecticides, fungicides and contact products, this equipment meets the spraying needs of various crops, such as coffee, vegetables in general, bananas, among others. With a removable Lithium-ion battery, facilitating charging, a padded belt for greater operator comfort, a hydraulic agitator to help prepare the syrup and 5 levels of constant spray pressure, this equipment provides quality application.

The Jacto DJB, another backpack equipment also powered by a lithium-ion battery, has two functions: it can be used both as a doser and as a sprayer. This makes the Jacto DJB a more versatile piece of equipment, being able to carry out applications via drench of pesticides, fertilizers and biologicals, widely used in the cultivation of coffee, as well as vegetables, tobacco and bananas in the field or in seedling nurseries, for example, even spraying generally. In any of these roles, precision work is possible.

In dosing mode, the Jacto DJB-20 has a timed system that applies dosages of 5 to 300 ml in 5 time intervals. Just leave the trigger activated and the equipment shoots automatically with the chosen dose in the selected range. In spray mode, it allows you to adjust 5 levels of constant pressure, covering an area evenly and with less drift.

FEMAGRI Farm

In line with the theme “Digital technology generating value in coffee farming”, Jacto will be demonstrating at Fazendinha FEMAGRI the company's new development in the backpack line: the Jacto DJB-20S battery-powered backpack sprayer and doser. The equipment can be connected via Bluetooth and controlled by a cell phone.

The Jacto DJB-20S expands the company's offer in battery-powered backpack sprayers and dosers, combining comfort and technology, as the operator stops carrying out the pumping effort and focuses on locating the targets.

“Using the cell phone, the operator can configure the entire journey, standardizing the dosages, pressure and flow of the product to be applied, in addition to selecting the type of application considering the spacing between the plants. At the end of the work, a report is generated with information about the operation, similar to the telemetry services that are offered in large machines”, explains Iago Reis de Oliveira, product specialist at Jacto, portable products unit.

The backpack equipment, mainly used in crops such as coffee, vegetables, bananas, herbicide applications in industrial crops such as eucalyptus and sugar cane, among others, can communicate with a cell phone through an application. Throughout the operation, the equipment records information on the number of doses applied and the total volume applied, for example. Furthermore, it makes it possible to generate an operational map of the application carried out when connected to a cell phone with GPS location enabled. All this information can be saved and shared.
