Expointer Special: JCB do Brasil reinforces agro presence at the 42nd Expointer
Event based in Rio Grande do Sul intends to generate R$ 2,4 billion in this edition, and JCB will be one of the main exhibitors
Making its solutions available to as many producers as possible in Brazil and abroad has been the objective of J.Assy, a company specializing in the development of technological solutions for agribusiness. Celebrating 22 years of operation in the market, focused on offering solutions from precise management of seed dosage to monitoring of planting, the company for the 4th consecutive year will participate in the Farm Progress Show, one of the most important agricultural technology fairs in the world and the main United States fair.
For the event that takes place from August 27th to 29th, in the city of Decatur, located in the American state of Illinois, the highlight is the Selenium pneumatic seed meterer and the Visum Adubo flow sensors. “Since we started operating in the United States, we have participated in the fair, and we are there for two reasons. The first is for our entry into the American market, where we can showcase what we have to launch, and the second is to monitor what the sector is preparing”, highlights the member of the company's board of directors, Matheus Assy.
Robust and easy to use, Selenium is the only pneumatic seed meterer with high precision for planting soybeans and also has high efficiency for planting cotton, corn, soybeans, sorghum and beans. It does not require adjustment or disassembly when changing culture kits and has a display, which allows you to monitor performance during planting.
Simple to install, does not require maintenance or battery replacement. The Visum Adubo sensor monitors the input flow and alerts you to possible blockages and failures that could interfere with the germination capacity. Furthermore, its communication with the monitor is 100% wireless and compatible with the ISOBUS system. “Our international sales team, as well as our marketing manager in the United States, will be present at the event, to guide visitors and present our solutions to American producers, and also to Brazilian producers who are always present”, says Assy.
News for the event
During the fair, J.Assy will also celebrate its recent partnership with the American multinational Ag Leader Technology, Inc. The company is recognized for being an innovator in hardware and software technology for precision agriculture. “With this new partnership, J.Assy will be in the company’s resales in the American country. Furthermore, during the Farm Progress Show, our products will be available at their stand, promoting our solutions”, highlights the J.Assy executive.
In addition to the new partnership, to consolidate its presence in the American market, J.Assy will also take the opportunity to finalize the final adjustments to the construction of its new laboratory. The idea is to begin implementing an R&D Center in the United States very soon, within the American technology corridor. “Our expectation is to develop solutions and innovations both in Brazil and in the United States, thus accelerating our development process”, concludes the executive.
Market strategy
Currently within J.Assy's strategies, the two largest markets are Brazil and the United States. The company's idea is not just to be a player Brazilian abroad, but is focused on having the best technology in the world and being in the American country, it is possible to accelerate this process. “Today we bring Brazilian technology to the Americans, we have some lines of development focused exclusively on them, which is a slightly different market, with some characteristics”, highlights Assy.
According to him, the main difference between Brazilian and American agriculture is the way it is cultivated. In Brazil, direct planting is widely used and North Americans carry out more conventional sowing, generating changes in the type of technology.
Another important characteristic is that Americans do not use much solid fertilizer, their preference is for liquid and this changes the way it is sold from one country to another. The company is now developing a high-speed planting solution with a focus on the United States. “As we are a Brazilian company, we strive to also develop an intermediate technology, focused on Brazil, as it is not established so quickly here. That’s why we have a foot in each country, this helps us bring together the best in technology”, he concludes.
