ITR summons can be responded to via digital process

The Federal Revenue implemented the Deliver ITR Mesh Documents service on e-CAC. The service allows people who have received a subpoena to provide clarification on the Rural Land Tax Declaration (ITR) to present documents through a digital process.

The service is available on e-CACe, to access it, you must have a gov.br account or a specific e-CAC access code.

Only citizens summoned by the Federal Revenue Service can use this virtual document delivery service to respond to the subpoena. People summoned by municipalities must present the documents to the municipalities.

In e-CAC, the taxpayer must access the Digital Processes system (e-Processo) and click on Request service via Digital Process’. Then, select the ‘Declarations and bookkeeping’ option in the ‘Service Concentration Area’ field and select the ‘Deliver ITR Mesh Documents’ option in the ‘Service’ field.

It is important to pay attention to the documents that will be presented. Incomplete or insufficient documentation makes it difficult to analyze the declaration and may result in a Notice of Release due to lack of proof of the declared information.
