Domestic cotton values ​​registered different moments in November

Plume prices fall in the 1st half of November, but recover in the 2nd

You internal values ​​of cotton lint recorded two distinct moments in November. According to Cepea researchers, in the first fortnight of the month, prices fell just over 6%, pressured by the retraction of buyers and by negative variations in external prices.

Already in second fortnight, prices rose 5%, practically recovering losses observed in the first half of the month, supported by the slight increase in external prices and export parity. 

At the balance, the CEPEA/ESALQ cotton lint indicator, with payment in 8 days, it fell 1,32% in November, closing at R$4,0023/lp on November 30th.
