Agreement between Embrapa and LS Tractor collaborates with research on Capim Capiaçu silage
Silage from this grass constitutes a cheaper alternative for supplementing pasture during the dry season
From this Thursday (18th) until at least April 24th, the weather is expected to be humid and rainy in much of the Northeast region. The rain should especially hit the eastern strip, from Bahia to Rio Grande do Norte, and the northern strip from Ceará to Piauí. In the interior of the region, there are also rainy conditions, mainly in the center-south of Ceará, west of Paraíba and center-north of Piauí.
The most significant volumes, which can occasionally exceed 100 millimeters (mm), may reach eastern and rural areas of the states of Sergipe and Alagoas. According to Inmet, significant volumes can also be recorded in the southern and eastern countryside of Pernambuco (areas bordering the state of Alagoas).
Inmet explains that this situation occurs because, throughout Thursday, a frontal system is expected to advance through the extreme south of Bahia and, even far away in the ocean, will contribute to intensifying the flow of humidity in the east of the region.
Between Friday (19) and Saturday (20), this configuration should contribute to the occurrence of intense rain between eastern Bahia, Sergipe and Alagoas. And, from Sunday (21) until April 24, the flow of moisture from the ocean to the continent (predominance of the South Atlantic Subtropical High-ASAS circulation) and a greater intensification of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), will favor the occurrence of rain showers across the entire eastern region, from Bahia to Rio Grande do Norte, and also in the northernmost portion up to Piauí.
