A structured offer that combines innovative and complete solutions, with excellent agronomic assistance and a proven track record of superior results. This is the definition of PIN – Integrated Productivity, Syngenta's annual integrated productivity initiative, in which 3.527 Brazilian rural producers took part in the last harvest.

The program, created to encourage farmers to reach new levels of productivity through the application of integrated solutions and protocols, in soybean, corn, wheat and coffee crops, ends its third edition with another leap in productivity in the field and increases of more 100% in production, compared to national averages published by the National Supply Company (Conab) and Agripoint.

For the third consecutive year, the results achieved by PIN participants were highly significant.

The average productivity of the three best placed soybean farmers in the program, for example, was 89,5% higher than the national average, totaling 108 bags of soybeans per hectare.

For the summer corn crop, the Brazilian average was 100,1 bags per hectare, while that recorded by the first placed in the PIN was 212,2 bags per hectare – an increase of more than 109%.

During the cycle, PIN-winning wheat producers also achieved very significant production, reaching around 120 bags per hectare, while the country's average was 53 bags per hectare.

The results in the corn silage category are also surprising: the average increase achieved by the top three in the PIN was 68.675 liters of milk per hectare, an amount 94,9% greater than the 35.234 liters per hectare of the national average.

And in the first year of coffee cultivation in PIN, the results achieved by producers participating in the program were surprising. With 139 bags per hectare, the top three in the PIN had a production much higher than the 24 bags per hectare of the national average.

With all these positive results, the PIN program encompasses three important commitments made by Syngenta in its Sustainable Agriculture Plan. This is because the application of the company's Integrated Solutions aims to enable greater productivity using fewer resources and inputs, promote environmental preservation and ensure that the producers involved receive guidance on the correct application of technologies.

“The PIN is a demonstration of what we believe in at Syngenta. Regardless of the scale, whether a small, medium or large producer, everyone can produce more, everyone can be champions and we want to participate in this evolution”, celebrates João Paulo Zampieri, Commercial Director of Syngenta's Southern Unit.

Integrated and customized

Segmented by culture – To integrate for soybean crops, Trigold for wheat, Granotop e To integrate for corn, Sillus for corn silage and Nucoffee for coffee –, Syngenta Integrated Solutions are proposed and assembled according to the needs of each farmer, but also considering the particularities of the crops, factors such as soil and climate conditions, in addition to the pests and diseases to which the crops are most exposed, for example.

Based on this data, teams from Syngenta and its distributors indicate the appropriate treatment and carry out the necessary monitoring until good results are achieved.
