Holder of the most modern biotechnologies in soybeans and corn, Bayer has areas planted with the latest releases of hybrids and varieties completely focused on the region. At Expodireto 2023, for soybeans, the company presented the new Intacta2 Xtend biotechnology, which has already yielded more than 100 bags of soybeans per hectare on dozens of properties in the last harvest. In the video above, Luciano Centeno, commercial soybean manager at Bayer in RS, explains how the system works.

Another benefit of the platform is the Xtend Biotec varieties, which generate high productivity for non-Bt areas. Both technologies can be associated with management with Xtend Herbicides, which is highly efficient in controlling broad-leaved weeds, such as horseweed, pigweed, viola string and black pickerel.

The already established Bayer brands Monsoy and Agroeste are also present at the fair presenting their lines which, together, already offer more than 20 varieties for soybeans with the new biotechnology platform, with adaptability for each region of the country, bringing producers the best tool to obtain real gains in new levels of productivity.
