Inmet: weather forecast between September 8th and 14th, 2025

The week will be marked by localized rain in the north and south, and dry weather in much of the country.

The National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) forecasts unstable weather for the week of September 8-14, 2025, in northern Amazonas and southern Rio Grande do Sul, with rainfall accumulations reaching 100 mm. In the rest of the country, dry weather is expected, with no precipitation in most of the Central-West, Southeast, and Northeast regions, and relative humidity levels below 30% in areas of Goiás, Mato Grosso, São Paulo, and parts of the Northeast.

Na Northern RegionAreas of instability are expected to be concentrated in the northern and southwestern portions of Amazonas, with volumes that could exceed 60 mm. The highest rainfall amounts, around 80 mm, are forecast for north-central Amazonas. In contrast, in much of Pará, Tocantins, Amapá, and southern Rondônia, no rain is forecast throughout the week. In southern Pará, Tocantins, and extreme southern Rondônia, relative humidity is expected to decrease, potentially reaching levels below 30%.

In much of the North East Region There is no rain forecast, with relative humidity tending to decrease, especially in the southern portion of Maranhão, Piauí, and western Bahia, where values ​​are below 30%. Meanwhile, in the coastal part of the region, rainfall amounts remain below 10 mm.

Na Central-West Region, The forecast is for stable weather, with no rain in virtually all states. Relative humidity is also forecast to fall below 30% across the region in the coming days, particularly in south-central Goiás, north-central Mato Grosso do Sul, and virtually all of Mato Grosso.

For Southeast, the INMET forecast indicates no rain for most states. Rainfall of up to 10 mm is expected throughout Espírito Santo and eastern Minas Gerais. Furthermore, relative humidity below 30% is forecast for the coming days in the Triângulo Mineiro region and much of São Paulo state.

For South, accumulated amounts of up to 100 mm are forecast in Southwest Rio Grande do Sul and volumes of up to 50 mm in the portion between the Serrana and Vale do Itajaí mesoregions in Santa Catarina. In the rest of the region (except north-central Paraná), accumulated amounts of up to 10 mm are forecast. Low relative humidity below 30% is forecast in north-central Paraná over the next few days.
