Inmet: weather forecast between October 07th and 14st, 2024

The week will be marked by large volumes of rain in the center-south of the country and with high temperatures in areas of the Center-West and North of Brazil, with maximums that may exceed 40ºC during the week. In addition, low levels of relative humidity will also be noted at the beginning of the week, in the central part of the country and the Northeast Region.

Among the regions that are expected to experience the most rain showers is the North of the country, which, with areas of instability associated with heat and high humidity, will cause rain showers throughout the week, with values ​​above 50,0 mm in the northwest of Amazonas.

Figure 1 shows the forecast of accumulated rainfall, according to the Cosmo numerical model of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), indicating that volumes may exceed 100,0 mm (represented in shades of red and pink).
