Inmet: weather forecast between April 7 and 14, 2025

In the Center-West, the forecast is for more localized rains over Mato Grosso and western Mato Grosso do Sul

The week of April 7 to 14 presents a forecast of rain concentrated in much of the North Region, north of the Northeast Region, west of the Central-West Region and south of the South Region, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET).

During this week, accumulations in these areas may exceed 80 mm. In the interior of Bahia, Alagoas, Sergipe, Pernambuco, as well as the north of Minas Gerais, east of Goiás and west of São Paulo, the tendency is for rainfall to occur with accumulations below 20 mm (blue tones).

In the North Region, the highlight goes to Amazonas, Pará, Amapá, Roraima and the north of Rondônia, where accumulated rainfall could exceed 60 mm (orange and red tones).

In the Northeast Region, the action of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will favor significant volumes in the north of Maranhão and Piauí, on the coast of Ceará.

In the Center-West, the forecast is for more localized rains over Mato Grosso and western Mato Grosso do Sul, with volumes that could exceed 50 mm (orange and red tones).

In the Southeast and South regions, rainfall can vary between 20 mm and 30 mm in the south of Minas Gerais (green tones) and above 50 mm in much of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina (orange and red tones).
