Climate forecasts indicate possible dry spells in December and January, which will worsen the situation
The forecast for the period from November 18 to 25 indicates continued rainfall in much of the country, especially in the central, southeast and northern regions, where volumes may exceed 100 mm. According to the Cosmo numerical model of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), the areas of Amazonas, southern Mato Grosso, Goiás, northern Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo, may register significant accumulations.
Na Northern Region, areas of instability associated with heat and high humidity will cause rain showers throughout the week, with accumulations above 50 mm in the center-west of Amazonas, Acre, Rondônia and southern Tocantins, and may exceed 100 mm in some places. In the north of Pará, Amapá and much of Roraima, volumes are expected to be lower, remaining below 20 mm.

Starting on the 22nd, a cold front coming from the South will align a humidity channel, increasing rainfall in the central strip of the country.
Na South, the beginning of the week will be marked by the action of a cold front that will advance rapidly towards the ocean, bringing rain to much of the region. Accumulated rainfall could exceed 50 mm in the north of Rio Grande do Sul, east of Santa Catarina and the coast of Paraná. From the 23rd onwards, the weather should remain stable in Rio Grande do Sul, while in Santa Catarina and Paraná the stable weather conditions will extend until the 24th of November.
