The forecast from the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) for the next few days indicates rain concentrated in much of the North, Central-West and north of the Northeast Region. In these areas, accumulations may exceed 80 mm during the week. The same is true in part of Paraná and east of the Southeast Region.

In the interior of Bahia, north-central Minas Gerais, west of São Paulo, west of Mato Grosso do Sul and Rio Grande do Sul, the tendency is for rainfall to occur with accumulations below 20 mm (blue tones).

In much of the Northern Region, the instabilities associated with heat and high humidity maintain the rain showers throughout the week, with accumulations above 50 mm (yellow tones) in much of the region.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), positioned further south, will cause accumulations above 80 mm in Amapá and northeastern Pará. Lower rainfall volumes are expected in central-southern Pará and Tocantins.

Na North East Region, the action of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will favor precipitation in the north of Maranhão, Piauí and the coast of Ceará, with forecast rainfall volumes above 80 mm (red tones) and winds of up to 100 km/h.

In the eastern strip of the region, in the strip that goes from Rio Grande do Norte to Sergipe, in addition to the south of Ceará, rains may occur in isolated points in the form of rain showers, with accumulations of less than 30 mm. The weather will be stable in the coming days, in the central part of Bahia, western Pernambuco and Alagoas, in addition to the southeast of Piauí.

Na Midwest region, the combination of heat and humidity maintains areas of instability in Mato Grosso, northwest of Goiás, with heavy rain throughout the week, with accumulations that can exceed 80 mm.

However, for the south and east of Goiás and a large part of Mato Grosso do Sul, the tendency is for irregular rainfall from March 12th, with lower accumulations and values below 20 mm.

Na Southeast, the advance of a cold front favors the occurrence of intense rains at the beginning of this week in parts of Rio de Janeiro, the south of Minas Gerais and the metropolitan region of São Paulo.

Rainfall of over 60 mm is forecast throughout the week. In the interior of São Paulo, central and northern Minas Gerais and northern Espírito Santo, the trend is for stable weather, but in some locations volumes of less than 10 mm may be recorded.

A South The week begins with stable weather in the south-central region of Rio Grande do Sul. The trend is for increased cloudiness and rain showers, starting on Wednesday over the northeast region of Rio Grande do Sul, east of Santa Catarina and south-central Paraná, with accumulations that could exceed 50 mm.
