After completing the removal of 891,5 tons of corn grains destined for the Storage Units of the National Supply Company (Conab) in Goiânia and Pontalina, the state-owned company now resumes sales of corn grains through the Counter Sales Program ( ProVB), starting this second half of October.
The Program aims to allow breeders to have access to official government stocks through direct sales at compatible prices. This fortnight, 42 t were released for the Goiânia storage unit and 130 t for the Pontalina unit. The expectation is to serve around 110 small livestock farmers and farmers in Goiânia and around 60 in Pontalina.
In addition to the units mentioned, 300 tons of corn grains were also released for sale, coming from the stock already existing in the São Luís de Montes Belos storage unit. The objective is to serve around 100 registered small livestock farmers and farmers who are eligible to purchase. The prices for 60 kg bags charged for this fortnight are: Goiânia (R$ 33,60), Pontalina (R$ 32,52) and São Luís dos Montes Belos (R$ 34,80).
