Minas Gerais coffee cooperative presents balance sheet for 2021; revenue reaches R$ 6,7 billion
IHARA, a research and development company specializing in agricultural pesticides, is present at the next edition of Tecnoshow Comigo, which takes place from April 4th to 8th, in Rio Verde (GO). Bringing technological solutions to farmers, at the “Castelo Samurai IHARA” stand, the company will present the most modern technologies of Japanese origin adapted to the reality of Brazilian farmers in order to control the main productivity challenges in crops.
According to the 2021/22 Harvest Survey, carried out by the National Supply Company (Conab), the estimated grain production in Goiás is expected to surpass the 30 million ton mark, reaching a new record. This focus reinforces the importance of caring for the crop so that, with each harvest, more development is possible, maintaining quality in the field.
Second-crop corn, whose production decreased in the previous cycle, has a positive expectation for 2021/2022. The off-season is expected to reach a production of 10,4 million tons, a considerable increase compared to the previous cycle, when 6,8 million tons were harvested (an increase of 53,6% in the current harvest), according to data from Conab .
With the purpose of being at the farmer's side, offering innovations that truly make a difference in their daily lives in the field, IHARA will present its latest launches at Tecnoshow Comigo aimed at soybean and corn crops. Among them is Hayate, an insecticide with a new technology in Brazil to combat the main caterpillars that are difficult to control, which cause great damage to crop productivity. The solution works to protect the crop for longer and causes these pests to immediately stop feeding.
With a specific focus on corn, the highlight is Sonda, a selective herbicide with systemic action that acts with high efficiency in controlling the main weeds in the cornfield such as wild peanut, viola string, black picão and trapoeraba. Due to its innovative technology, Sonda can be applied in smaller doses and has a broad spectrum of control in relation to herbicides available on the market. Furthermore, it causes necrosis in the weeds present in the crop, which guarantees excellent results in the fight against broad leaves and total selectivity in the corn crop.
For IHARA's Regional Marketing Manager, Roberto Rodrigues, the company focuses on research and development of new products with the aim of offering efficient solutions for crop protection. “Japan is the country that most develops new technologies in agricultural pesticides and IHARA is the bridge that offers the Brazilian market access to these innovations. We are always at the farmer's side to provide full support with our solutions adapted to the reality of Brazilian crops and which, in fact, solve problems in the field, combating pests, diseases and resistant weeds as much as possible. This is what we will show at Tecnoshow Comigo”, he states.
In this 2022 edition, other solutions will also be demonstrated at the company's stand. For seed treatment, the demonstration area exemplifies the benefits of Convence FS, with a formulation that enhances the synergy between the active ingredients to obtain a perfect stand, in addition to presenting three modes of action that leave the seedlings more protected and with fewer pests from the beginning of the plantation. The product also guarantees high performance results against Larga-Elasmo in soybeans and combats the main detractors of peanuts, cotton and beans.
“We developed Convence FS, so that it has a broad spectrum of action, is easy to apply and handle, which guarantees good germination and initial development of the crop. Furthermore, it presents a significant result for crops. Visitors will see in practice how our technologies can transform the field and boost productivity”, adds Roberto.
In addition to these, other highlights from the company's portfolio will be on display, such as Kyojin which works in pre-emergence weed control. In addition to having more efficient management of weed competition in soybeans, it has a wider range, generating more profitability and a cleaner crop for longer. And Fusão, which is a fungicide for those looking to combine excellent results, its great advantage is in the management of rust and other soybean diseases.
Other solutions that will also be on display include Zeus, which has as its main focus the management of bed bugs. It has more effective and faster control. It is a new technology in Brazil, with a unique shock and residual effect, and can be applied to different cultures. The Absoluto FIX is a protective fungicide that, due to its different formulation, guarantees greater adhesiveness to the soybean leaf, protecting against fungal infestation. The solution is also a better protector against rust, ensuring greater safety in rainy periods.
Leaving its mark on innovation and technology, the company presents the IHARA EXPERIENCE, a circuit created especially so that the public has the opportunity to obtain more information about the culture, more appropriate management and the benefits of IHARA's portfolio of innovative solutions. The company brings a parallel between digital and field technologies and innovations.
Upon entering the stand, visitors will be welcomed by the sales team and immersed in a technological experience that reinforces our quality and Japanese tradition. On the circuit, he will have access to the Interactive X-Ray, an innovative tool in which a screen runs on rails presenting about the company, the phenological stage of the soybeans, main targets and IHARA's innovative solutions.
Following the route, there will be a space with the “Oracle of Specialists”, which brings renowned researchers in phytopathology, herbology and entomology to present the implications of the main targets of these crops and recommendations for the most appropriate management. The next attraction on the IHARA Experience circuit is the Interactive Table, which contains, for each launch, a brief technical explanation of the benefits and results of these technologies.
After learning more about IHARA and its solutions, visitors will be guided to the demonstration field to see, in practice, the benefits and results of the products presented. To finish the journey, there will be the possibility of chatting with the team present. All actions will be carried out in complete safety and following the protocols established against Covid-19 for the event to take place.
To bring relevant and credible content to farmers, the company brings something new: the HORA H IHARA, which will broadcast several debates with the participation of renowned journalist Kellen Severo and special guests. Check out the schedule below, which will take place on April 6th (Wednesday), starting at 19pm, broadcast on the channel IHARA Youtube:
